Green is for Growth
We had a lot of help with starting our dog walking business. We also had a lot of help when selling our business. Building Souls Gone Wild is a completely different experience. We are on our own. Everything is new; living and traveling out of a RV, teaching workshops on the road and teaching online.
Despite the fear I feel, I am happy and excited. We are getting better at breaking down, setting up and towing our RV. We are seeing new places and new people. We are putting ourselves out there to create opportunities. I am more out of my comfort zone than in it and that is okay. I am learning, growing, changing and healing.
For the most part, we are constantly in a state of not knowing. I know that we will continue growing as nomadic teachers, but I have no idea how everything is going to unfold. We were suppose to be in Massachusetts, but here we are in Illinois. Things change. We adapt and improvise.
Even though it can be scary not knowing how everything is going to play out, I like it better than everything being planned out. That is a quick way for me to get stuck in boredom. When I am bored, I’m not inspired. When I’m not inspired, I’m not creative. I like being on the road, I like movement.
I’m very curious to see how everything will turn out in Illinois. I think our business is going to have a growth spike while we are here. All I know is that I just want to teach as much as possible and do as many readings as I can. I’m here to make money, learn more and to help people find their truth. It’s the strangest thing, but most people we come across these days, we discover that they have a dream of traveling the country. Some are waiting to do it and others feel the opportunity has passed them.
Even though we are starting over and building a new business, I feel lucky to be traveling. I don’t feel like I am running away, I feel like I am living.
